These factors have contributed to the growing global demand for natural cosmetics. But there is a big challenge faced by the exporting community. Many importers and trade analysts argue that there is no agreed-upon or set legal definition of natural products that can be used by natural product brands on their product labels. In my opinion, this leaves a huge gap between the perceived benefits and actual products that consumers may be ultimately getting because to give shelf life and stability to the product, some chemical agents are added by manufacturers.
Anyway, as the business evolves, I hope that countries will implement proper stricter laws to protect their consumers and this will help brands to win the trust of the consumers. The growth in demand for natural products in the personal care segment has motivated global companies, such as Unilever, Avon Products, and Procter & Gamble, among others, to include natural personal care products in their product portfolio.
